Joining I'm Down!

Every member takes this pledge before joining. It's the whole reason a recommendation here is worth reading.

I solemnly pledge to "Tell the truth" at all times on this platform. I will not ask anyone to promote my interests, and I will not promote anyone else's in exchange. I will not give preferential treatment to my friends, family, or colleagues, and if I have any difficulty navigating this line, I will simply refrain from commenting on their music.

I realize that the integrity of this community depends on objectivity and equal treatment for all, and that any violation of this oath is a betrayal of the community and its members.

One thing to know: blog posts you publish are public. They may be shown anywhere on I’m Down, including the Editor’s Choice blog, and read by people outside your community. Your scores, ratings and location are never shared.
